If you are reading this message, you should know that the Texas Legislature is currently in session.

In fact, it ends May 31st!

At this point, not a single bill has been heard to help Texas distilleries
recover from being shut down for most of 2020.

These are the same distilleries that made hand sanitizer and provided it to first responders, hospitals, and nursing homes – free of charge. But make no mistake, Texas distillers don’t want a hand-out; they just want a free market to sell their products to customers like you. We support the passage of S.B. 757 by Senator Charles Schwertner that, if passed, will allow distillers to ship bottles directly to you. We support S.B. 1013 and H.B. 2232 by Senator Dawn Buckingham and Representative John Bucy. These bills would allow a local option election to determine whether distilleries can be open 7 days per week. We support S.B. 655 and H.B. 2890 by Senator Schwertner and Representative Cody Harris. These bills would allow us to sell you more than 2 bottles in a 30-day period. If you want to see craft distilleries prosper in Texas, hire Texans, and contribute to the tax base of your community; and if you want to be able to get the products you want, when you want them, we encourage you to contact your state representative and state senator today.

Thank you for your support!

Salvation Spirits

A Destination Distillery, Brewery & Winery
in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country.

Salvation Spirits is a purpose-driven, environmentally conscious distillery with a mission to make products of unsurpassed quality, out of the finest ingredients, and to share our success with those in need. We are located in Fredericksburg, Texas – a town rich with German heritage. We have taken inspiration from St. Michael – the patron saint of the German people. Michael is viewed by many religious traditions as a healer and protector. Michael serves as our inspiration to contribute 10% of our net profits to charities that serve the poor, the powerless, and the hungry.

Hangout, Tour & Taste.

Uniquely situated on a 10-acre orchard in the heart of Texas Wine Country, Salvation Spirits will offer a necessary respite from the taste-and-go wine venues that dominate the landscape. It will be a place to hangout, taste, tour, sip a vodka or gin cocktail, explore the complexity of brandy, or just savor a cold beer or glass of wine – all while enjoying good food and live music.

An Exciting Destination in the Texas Hill Country.

Upon completion, the venue will offer 10,000 square feet of entertainment space, including a private event venue, multiple decks, a commercial kitchen, and a stage for live music. The 8,000 square foot distillery barn at the back of the property will serve as the home to our 750L German- made Holstein still with a yearly maximum capacity of 30,000 9L cases and a 6-barrel brewing system with a yearly maximum brewing capacity of 1,500 barrels.

Our Line-Up of Spirits.

Salvation Spirits’ primary focus will be on making premium craft vodka, gin and brandy infused with fruit organically grown on site, including peaches, plums, pears, and blackberries. Beer and wine will also be produced for on-site consumption and limited distribution.
